Work through it

2. Have these ready
   • Your EIN, and the legal name exactly as the IRS holds it — a mismatch is the usual cause of delay
   • A UEI (SAM issues one during registration)
   • Your bank details for electronic payment
3. Pick your NAICS codes and finish reps & certifications SAM asks which industry codes describe your work and a set of representations; together they decide which opportunities and set-asides you appear eligible for.
4. Then take it to the Nevada APEX Accelerator Free procurement counseling whose whole mission is helping Nevada firms win government work; they point you to your first real opportunities. Open

5. Renew the registration every year

   A SAM.gov registration expires twelve months after it activates, and an expired one disqualifies you from award until you renew. Set a reminder.

6. Paying someone to do it

   Paying someone to do it. SAM registration is free and self-service; the paid services that appear alongside it in search results are not required and are not affiliated with the government.
